Hinds Hospice is here for you, providing comfort and support during the end-of-life journey.
You are not alone.
As
your trusted hospice care provider since 1981, Hinds Hospice is here for
you; the communities of Fresno, Madera, and Merced
counties. Consisting of a professional staff
of 140, over 300 devoted volunteers and a dedicated
Board of Directors, we are here to help those living with a terminal condition,
their caregivers and those who have lost a
loved one.
In addition to providing hospice
care services in both the Hinds Hospice Home and
in a patient’s own home environment, we also offer an extensive bereavement support program through our Center for
Grief and Loss, a pediatric hospice program, a perinatal
hospice and infant loss support program called “Angel
Babies/Bebitos Angelitos,” a formal physician education program, and five thrift stores
throughout the central valley.

Hinds Hospice staff and volunteers help the people of our communities deal with difficult questions, such as:
- If you or a loved one were seriously ill or in pain, do you know where to get information about resources and services that could help you?
- Do you have plans for the kind of health care you would want and not want if you became unable to speak for yourself?
- Have you talked with anyone about end-of-life care for yourself or your loved ones?
- Would you like to do more to improve the quality of care and quality of life for people in you community who are seriously ill?
Hinds Hospice can help.
