Angel Babies / Bebitos Angelitos
A terminal diagnosis or the death of a baby is one of the most devastating experiences a family can go through. But you don't have to go through it alone. Angel Babies/Bebitos Angelitos is here to provide the special kind of support you and your family need. Angel Babies offers a perinatal hospice program designed for families whose unborn child has been diagnosed with a terminal condition, offering support during pregnancy and providing ideas for creating loving memories. Hospice services are available for babies who survive after birth and are in need of special care. This care can be provided in the baby's home or in the Hinds Hospice Home. This program assists families to both welcome and enjoy their baby and, when necessary, to say goodbye. Services are also available for families who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth or other infant death.
People are not taught how to deal with the death of a baby. Our friends and family often don't know what to say. Most people expect the parents, especially the father, to return to work within a few days after the loss and be "back to normal" within a matter of months. But the death of a baby changes parents forever, and results in a uniquely deep and personal grieving process. The Angel Babies/Bebitos Angelitos bereavement service provides families with helpful information and support during their journey of grief and mourning.
Angel Babies/Bebitos Angelitos is ready to give you as much - or as little - help as you desire before and after your loss. Our team consists of nurses, social workers, chaplains and caring volunteers who partner with your family and health care provider. This team provides comfort, support and assistance to families in identifying resources to help them cope during pregnancy, after birth and on their journey of grief. Our services include:
- Specialized Support groups

- Parents
- Siblings
- Grandparents
- Subsequent Pregnancy after a loss
- Bereavement support for family members for 13 months
- Funeral and memorial planning assistance
