EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS
Jane Lindberg, L.C.S.W., Executive Director of Clinical Services
Jane is a 1988 graduate of CSU Fresno with a B.A. Degree in Spanish and a minor in Chicano Latino Studies. She followed up with her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 1990 and joined the Hinds Hospice team in October of 1991. When she first started, she was a social worker seeing patients in their own homes. She later became the Director of Psychosocial Services and then the Director of the Center for Grief and Loss, before receiving her current position as the Executive Director of Clinical Services. In this position, Jane oversees all of the clinical staff, including the hospice interdisciplinary team members and bereavement counselors. Jane considers it a privilege to have been able to grow with Nancy Hinds and Hinds Hospice. She is looking forward to the future of Hinds Hospice and to serving the staff and the communities to who we are so grateful for their support. Jane is married with children and grandchildren. Greg Timberlake, PsyD, Executive Director of Administration
An Ohio native, Greg moved to California in 2000. He received his Doctor of Psychology in Organizational Development from California School of Professional Psychology in 2004. Prior to becoming a full time employee in the fall of 2006, Greg spent two years with Hinds Hospice as a volunteer consultant. As the Executive Director of Administration, Greg is responsible for helping to develop integrated administration services for the hospice, linking Human Resources, Finance, Fund Development and Clinical Operations with Board of Directors development and strategic planning. CLINICAL DIRECTORS
Pam Romias, R.N., B.H.S., Director of Hospice Care Services, Fresno and Madera Counties
Pam has been with Hinds Hospice since 1999, first serving as a Case Manager before moving to her current position as Director of Hospice Care Services for Fresno and Madera counties. Pam oversees the daily duties of the clinical and support staff out of the Fresno Outpatient office. She also prepares the monthly on call schedules, schedules new patients with case managers and is responsible for maintaining a staffing level to meet the patient care needs. Pam recruits and hires new departmental staff and assures agency compliance with state licensure requirements and regulations. Pam received her nursing degree from Fresno City College and her BHS in Health Science from Chapman University. Her nursing specialty is Pediatrics. Pam is married and has two grown daughters and a total of six grandchildren. She is a member of both the California State Hospice Association and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO). Maureen Buchner, R.N., Director of Hospice Care Services, Merced
County
Maureen started as a part-time nurse for Hospice of Merced County in March of 1996 and became part of the Hinds Hospice team later that year when Hinds Hospice merged with Hospice of Merced County. She is currently the full-time Director of Hospice Care Services for Merced County and is responsible for managing the clinical and clerical teams there. Maureen graduated from Merced College with her Nursing degree. Maureen has lived in Merced for over 30 years. She and her husband Dick have two grown sons. Ann Guerrero, Director of the Hinds Hospice Home (photo coming soon)
Ann has been an R.N. with the Hinds Hospice Home since 1991, serving at the bedsides for direct patient care. She has also been a patient assessor before her current role as Director of the Hinds Hospice Home. As Director, Ann oversees the daily operations of the home and provides tools and assistance needed by the staff to meet the needs of our patients and their families. Ann graduated from CSU, Fresno in 1985 with a B.S. degree in Nursing and is a member of NHPCO and the Nursing Leadership Council. She feels honored and privileged to be able to help patients and their families during the journey they are going through. Ann is married and has two children. Deanne Sayles, R.N.,M.N., Assistant Director of Hospice Care Services (photo coming soon) Deanne joined Hinds Hospice in 2003 and has been a case manager, intake nurse, clinical educator and now the Assistant Director of Hospice Care Services. She helps the Director in coordinating and managing care of patients on hospice, supervises clinical personnel and educates new clinical staff, among other duties. Deanne has her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Bradley University in Peoria, Illiinois and her Master's Degree in Oncology Nursing from UCLA. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA), California Hospice & Palliative Care Association (CHAPCA) and the International Association of Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC). Kathy Cromwell, L.C.S.W., Director of Hinds Hospice Center for Grief 
and Loss
Kathy started with Hinds Hospice in 2001 as an intern while attending graduate school at CSU, Fresno. In 2003, she was hired to be the Director of the Angel Babies program and in 2006 became the Director of the Center for Grief and Loss. She oversees both the Angel Babies program, as well as the Bereavement services provided at the Center for Grief and Loss. She also provides individual, couples and family grief counseling. Kathy is a member of the Pregnancy Loss and Infant Death Alliance (PLIDA), the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC) and the National Association for Social Workers (NASW). David Silveira, MSW, ACSW, Director of Psychosocial Services, Bereavement & Angel Babies – Merced (photo coming soon)
David joined Hinds Hospice in 1999 as a student intern and was then hired as an MSW after graduating with his Masters Degree in Social Work from CSU, Fresno in 2002. David coordinates all psychosocial/social worker outpatient services as well as the bereavement program for Hinds Hospice in Merced County. He is the Treasurer of the Merced Breakfast Lions club, which he joined in 1992. David and his wife Robin live in Atwater with their two sons. Mary McInnes, R.N., C.H.P.N., Director of Clinical Development and Compliance
In 1996, Mary was hired as a nurse for our Hospice Care Services and within a year’s time became the nurse evaluator for the Hinds Hospice Home. Over the next few years she assisted with the agency’s clinical development and compliance issues until becoming director of the department in 2000. Mary is responsible for developing and maintaining the agency’s Corporate Compliance Program, implementation of the organization’s computerized documentation system and oversees the Performance Improvement Program. As a member of the management team, she is also responsible for developing, reviewing and revising the administrative policies and procedures. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities and Social Sciences, is a Registered Nurse and is also a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse. Mary is a member of the Children’s Hospital Central California Institutional Ethics Committee, the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and is a Board Member of the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association (CHAPCA) representing Region 3. Reverend Lisa Vernon, Director of Spiritual Services (photo coming soon!)
As Director of Spiritual Services, Lisa is responsible for coordinating the chaplain team and providing spiritual care to patients, families and staff of Hinds Hospice. She graduated from San Francisco State University in 1982 and received her M.Div. in 1988 from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Lisa has been with Hinds Hospice since 2001 and has also been a member of the Fresno Ministerial Association for the past 10 years. She and her husband Wil live in Fresno. ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTORS
Sonny Viloria, B.B.A., M.Ed., Director of Administration and Human Resources
Sonny has been with Hinds Hospice since 1999, serving as the Director of Administration and Human Resources. He is responsible for the administrative functions of the organization, such as human resources management, support services, allocating space, office equipment, facilities and risk management, leases, insurances, physical and systems security and safety, as well as supervising activities of the information management systems office. Sonny retired from the U.S. Marine Corps where he earned a variety of medals and other decorations. The highest position he held as an enlisted man was Sergeant Major of an Infantry Battalion. His highest position as a Commissioned Officer was Squadron Commanding Officer and retired as a Major. He served two 13 month tours in Vietnam in a combat zone and led an infantry rifle platoon into combat. Sonny earned his B.B.A. in Business Management and Administration from Texas A&M University and his Masters Degree in Education from the University of Maryland. Sonny is a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Mustang Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, U.S. Marine Corps Drill Instructor Association, Echo Company-2nd Battalion-1st Marines Vietnam Association, Bravo Company-1st Battalion-Marines Vietnam Association, Texas A&M Aggie Former Students Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the San Joaquin Valley Veterans Association. Bev Robinson, Director of Finance
Bev joined Hinds Hospice in 2000 as the Director of Finance. She is responsible for all of the financial reporting for the organization, patient billing and accounts payable needs of the agency. Bev graduated from CSU, Fresno with her degree in Business Administration. She has been married to her husband Jeff for 29 years and has two daughters, Jenny and Katie, and a son-in-law Joe. Denny Viloria, Director of Thrift Store Operations 
As the Director of Thrift Store Operations, Denny is responsible for managing the operations of all five Hinds Hospice Thrift Stores located in Fresno, Madera, Kerman, Chowchilla and Sanger. He also oversees E-bay sales and all "Cars for Causes" vehicle donations. The primary role of the thrift stores is to help the communities that Hinds Hospice serves by making quality, low-cost goods available to those that may need them and to generate income to help offset our patient care costs. Denny works closely with the Fund Development Department in helping to offset the shortfall in reimbursement revenue compared to patient care costs. Denny has a very creative mind and is always looking for new ways to improve the thrift stores and find new revenue sources in the community. Denny can be reached at (559) 977-4276.
Samantha Schuh, Director of Fund Development and Communications

Samantha joined the Hinds Hospice Fund Development team in 2003 as a Fund Development Coordinator. In her current role as Director of Fund Development and Communications, Samantha oversees the fundraising activities of the organization in an effort to offset the financial gap between reimbursed revenue and actual patient care costs. She and her team manage donor relations, create educational materials, internal and external correspondence, and plan fundraising events, among other activities. Samantha is a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and is a member of AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals), Central Valley Chapter. She lives in Fresno with her husband and two sons.
